Making Chocolate: A Video

If you love watching chocolate products being made, you really ought to check out the "Making Chocolate" video on the Hershey Corporation Web site. It's incredible.

Sara, that is a good movie. But can I just point out something without trying to rain on your parade? The way the cows are chained up by their necks makes me sad. They aren't happy grazing cows. They eat wilted grass that hasn't been alive in a while and they are chained up with very little freedom. Sad. I hope they are not that way all the time, only during milking, but who knows?

They should have a cable channel that just shows candy production.

Waves of chocolate, curtains of melted coating, kisses being deposited by the droves. I'd just put it on for parties!

Hm, I agree with you Cybele. I would watch it a lot! The Food Network does highlight candy/food production sometimes, which I love. It's like Reading Rainbow!

Yvonne, I'm not sure about the cows . . . And honestly, I was too excited about the prospect of watching churning chocolate that I didn't even notice!

I wanted to post that picture, Yvonne, and I tried, too. But it is posted on Flickr as a gif file, and I don't know how to change it into a jpg. ???
